Conceal Carry

Some people may try to block in my views on politics or religion into a neat little box of Liberal or Conservative (since we in America believe that is all there is). It might be difficult for some to understand that I support gun ownership - for a long time I used to be against things like silencers and fully automatic weapons, but the more I think about it, I'd rather the regular citizen have access to those pieces of equipment than law enforcement or military. You've seen how our government treats us in New Orleans - sending National Guard troops from a hot zone in Iraq or Afghanistan to shoot at more brown people at home. Most of these citizens were just trying to survive - but our society has put more value on property than human life - so we see law enforcement and military shooting 'looters.' They also made a habit of going house to house confiscating firearms from average citizens - in one instance they subdued an ailing grandma just to take her dead husband's handgun.

Anyway, I've always used the Bill of Rights as my guide (more so than the Bible or any religious work) and I like 1st-2nd and indeed ALL amendments in it. That's why its been a little frustrating as of late - my conceal carry lisense has expired. Hopefully I can get enough money to renew it.
